We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar at our new upscale establishment, Stewarts Croquet & Cocktails and our restaurant next door, Gemelle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a passion for hospitality. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage staff, ensure high-quality service, and maintain an inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock to minimize waste.
- Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service while adhering to safety and health regulations.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or bar management within an upscale environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage production processes.
- Experience in staff training and development, with the ability to lead by example.
- A background in the hospitality industry is essential for understanding guest expectations and delivering exceptional experiences.
