This position will involve working between our new high-end establishment, Stewarts Croquet & Cocktails, and our upscale restaurant, Gemelle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on inventory control, staff training, and supervising operations in a fine dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
- Manage inventory control processes including ordering, receiving, and tracking supplies to minimize waste.
- Develop innovative drink menus that align with current trends while catering to customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the bar area.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance of the bar, assisting in budgeting and forecasting as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a fine dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and trends in fine dining or hotel settings.
- Experience in staff training and development is essential.
