Lowcountry Community Action Agency, Inc. is now accepting applications for the position of a
Human Resource Manager
Minimum Qualifications: Must have at least an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and professional HR education, with at least two to five years Human Resources experience preferred, two years recruiting experience required, excellent written, verbal computer, interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, high level of confidentiality, problem-solving, interaction with the team, computer experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to learn the system quickly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development and delivery of Human Resources strategies, frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with the agency’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.
- Maintain personnel files, records, and other documentation per pre-set guidelines.
- Process monthly reports for status change, re-classification, reviews, and reports as needed for the department and/or Executive Director,
- Lead assessment and identification of the agency’s training and development needs as well as the implementation of training and developments programs, including onboarding and mentoring programs
Accurate recordkeeping and file maintenance
- Promote, administer and maintain reports of eligibility for employee benefit and insurance options, process forms for enrollment
- Manage confidential matters and protect crucial information regarding employees, visitors, and company be adhering to security procedures
- Manage confidential matters and protect critical due dates for projects, daily activities, etc., to include: job fairs, training, new hire orientation, applicant flow pre-employment status, management requests, etc
- Maintains the Agency’s Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual, and monitors performance within all departments to ensure compliance with all procedures detailed therein to provide a system of internal controls.
- Utilize Outlook to calendar critical due dates for projects, daily activities, etc., to include: job fairs, training, new hire orientation, applicant flow pre-employment status, management requests, etc.
- Maintain a positive image on behalf of the agency while at work and in the community
- Promote teamwork and remain flexible in your work environment and assist other team members whenever necessary
- Other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Additional Responsibilities: Principle procedures and practices of HR duties; modern office practices procedures, systems, and equipment relating to Human Resource operations, including computerized Human Resource procedures.
Must be able to plan, organize and complete assigned work in a timely manner. Must be able to work effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations, using time, equipment, and material in the most efficient manner possible; work effectively with others, communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; and maintain an error rate of five percent (5%) or less.
