Position Summary

The Administrative HR Assistant is responsible for assisting with the activities of the overall office function. This position ensures accurate analysis and reporting of customer service data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assist with managing customer account data to ensure accuracy

· Perform tasks to keep the office looking professional

· Complete daily projects using company software and MS Office applications

  • Process daily cash drawer transactions and balancing reports
  • Perform back-up for any office position

· Maintain supplies stocked in the office

  • Able to enter and retrieve information from LL&P software systems
  • Able to type/file accurately

· Able to enter accurate numerical data

  • Perform various administrative functions for Human Resources; insurance enrollments and changes, manage filing of related documents and forms, assist with hiring and terminations, FMLA, STD, LTD and Workers’ Comp forms.
  • Perform other related tasks and work assigned by the Office Manager or designated supervisor required for successful work performance
  • Able and willing to work flexibly and assist co-workers to complete assignments and meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· High school diploma or seeking one

· Attention to details, ability to take directions, self-check and follow up on work

· Basic data base experience, 10key by touch, calculator

· Analytical and critical problem-solving skills

· Basic knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel

· Basic to intermediate computer and typing skills

  • Understand directions and work independently without direct supervision

· Ability to apply discretion, trust with confidential company information

  • Occasionally required to bend, twist, climb, or reach overhead.
  • Moderate concentration/intensity, which includes prolonged mental effort with limited opportunity for breaks.
  • Average memory, taking into consideration the amount and type of information.
  • Moderate level of complexity for decision making. Average time pressure of decision making.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

  • Monday to Friday
