Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Payroll & HRIS Administrator with at least 3 years of experience in payroll processing and HRIS systems management. Experience in benefits administration is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits management, HRIS systems, and data analytics, while also being able to provide exceptional support to employees and the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing:
    • Accurately and timely process payroll including review and verification of timecards, and multiple pay groups for all employees.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and tax laws.
    • Address payroll inquiries from employees promptly and effectively.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS.
  • HRIS / Reporting & Data
    • Generate and analyze reports from the HRIS and payroll systems to provide insights to the HR department and firm executives.
    • Develop and maintain key HR metrics, including turnover rates, employee performance, benefits participation, and payroll expenses.
    • Use data analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR processes and policies.
    • Perform data entry, updates, and maintenance within the HRIS.
    • Provide system access, training, and troubleshooting support to HRIS users.
    • Develop and implement HRIS processes and procedures to improve system efficiency.
    • Provide regular reports on payroll, benefits, and HR activities for leadership review.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
    • Work with HR leadership to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to benefits administration.
    • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and provide guidance on plan options.
    • Process benefits enrollment and changes in the HRIS system.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers regarding benefits administration.
    • Assist with the annual open enrollment process and communicate benefits changes to employees.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, HRIS systems management, and data analytics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS software payroll systems is required. Experience with ADP is preferred.
