Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Payroll & HRIS Administrator with at least 3 years of experience in payroll processing and HRIS systems management. Experience in benefits administration is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits management, HRIS systems, and data analytics, while also being able to provide exceptional support to employees and the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing:
- Accurately and timely process payroll including review and verification of timecards, and multiple pay groups for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Address payroll inquiries from employees promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS.
- HRIS / Reporting & Data
- Generate and analyze reports from the HRIS and payroll systems to provide insights to the HR department and firm executives.
- Develop and maintain key HR metrics, including turnover rates, employee performance, benefits participation, and payroll expenses.
- Use data analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR processes and policies.
- Perform data entry, updates, and maintenance within the HRIS.
- Provide system access, training, and troubleshooting support to HRIS users.
- Develop and implement HRIS processes and procedures to improve system efficiency.
- Provide regular reports on payroll, benefits, and HR activities for leadership review.
- Benefits Administration:
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Work with HR leadership to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to benefits administration.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and provide guidance on plan options.
- Process benefits enrollment and changes in the HRIS system.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers regarding benefits administration.
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process and communicate benefits changes to employees.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, HRIS systems management, and data analytics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS software payroll systems is required. Experience with ADP is preferred.
