JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Flatbed Dispatcher is instrumental in the successful coordination of the timely and accurate delivery of goods. The key responsibilities of this function are to provide exceptional support to our customers and drivers, be quick to respond to questions and troubleshooting concerns and to proactively monitor the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Answer driver calls and respond to problems, equipment, tires.
- Assuring customer satisfaction concerning the delivery of cargo.
- Assuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Book loads with commercial companies.
- Comply with inspection forms for all company owned equipment
- Go over checklist with new drivers on what equipment they carry on the flatbed and what areas they like to run
