What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLT - Charlotte, NC - Airline food and Equipment Coordinator position at LSG Sky Chefs?
Responsible for all aspects of catering International Flights including auditing trolleys, loading equipment on to the truck, driving the truck to the A/C, loading trolleys according to customer guidelines, debriefing flight attendants on paperwork, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area. Must adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines. Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications. Follows all Ramp Safety and AOA Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
Qualifications
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30lbs
Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Must have experience driving large delivery trucks
Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a profession appearance and attitude
Must possess basic math skills
Must be able to apply safety standards
Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
Must be able to pass a 10 year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge and Customs Seal
