Position Summary
The Louisiana Cancer Prevention & Control Programs (LCP) is seeking a highly motivated, experienced public health professional with excellent organizational and communication skills to serve as the program administrator for the Louisiana Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (LCCCP). The incumbent will join a team of skilled, dedicated professionals seeking to reduce the burden of cancer in Louisiana.
LCCCP leads the development of the state-wide cancer plan and coordinates various coalitions to advance cancer prevention and control in Louisiana through planning, implementing and evaluating policy, system and environmental changes.
Under the general supervision of the LCP Director, the program administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of LCCCP. The incumbent will coordinate the planning and implementation of programmatic activities, provide coordination support to various coalitions and collaborations, lead program reporting and deliverable development, and develop and monitor the LCCCP budget and contracts. The program administrator also provides technical assistance and training and ensures adherence with state and/or federal guidelines. The program administrator serves as team lead, providing supervision for one position.
