Experience 7 to 8 Years
- Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert SME to manage and optimize our Azure infrastructure operations The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Azure environments including compute monitoring capacity planning and ensuring the overall health and performance of the cloud infrastructure
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Azure Infrastructure Develop and deploy Azure infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs
- Manage Compute Resources Oversee the provisioning configuration and maintenance of Azure Virtual Machines and other compute resources
- Monitoring and Performance Management Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health performance and availability of Azure services
- Capacity Planning Conduct capacity planning to ensure the infrastructure can handle current and future demands
- Security and Compliance Ensure the security and compliance of Azure infrastructure implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards
- Automation and Scripting Develop and maintain infrastructure as code IaC scripts for repeatable and automated deployments
- Collaboration Work closely with development teams architects and other stakeholders to optimize and improve Azure services
- Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented Azure configurations and relevant infrastructure
- Qualifications
- Experience 7 to 8 years of experience in managing Azure cloud infrastructure
- Technical Skills Proficiency in Azure services including Virtual Machines Azure Monitor Azure Security Center and other relevant tools
- Scripting and Automation Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or similar for automation
- Problem Solving Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Communication Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with Cross functional teams
- Certifications Relevant Azure certifications eg Azure Solutions Architect Azure Administrator are a plus
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Knowledge of networking and security principles in cloud environments
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms eg AWS Google Cloud is a plus
