What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator position at Ludlow Mount Holly Unified Union School District?
Two Rivers Supervisory Union is currently looking to hire a highly qualified individual to serve as a Special Education Paraeducator for our Cavendish Town Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Candidates must be highly qualified with an Associate’s degree or by successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment. The ideal candidates will be caring, patient, team spirited and very organized. Candidates must also enjoy working collaboratively with a team, and possess the qualities of patience, creativity, dependability, consistency, commitment, and a desire to learn new skills. Candidates will need to have the ability to follow a detailed educational and behavioral plans income cases. Experience working with Special Needs Students a plus.
There is a potential for additional work hours during the school year in our after school program as well as during the summer through our summer programs.
Background Check Required.
High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required.
Must be deemed Highly Qualified by having a minimum of 48 credit hours at an institution of higher education, or holding an Associate's Degree or higher; or by successfully passing a formal state or local academic assessment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.35 - $21.35 per hour
