Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Purchase, loan and expedite material using the most economical means in-order to meet our customer’s demand
- Work independently on material sourcing and logistics coordination tasks
- Capability of coordinating multiple high priority requests in an organized and urgent manner
- Process, coordinate and document all material requests
- Proactively work on clarifications and discrepancies as they occur
- Initiate, coordinate and track shipments in cooperation with freight forwarders in-order to fulfill customer requirements in a timely manner
- Attend customer meetings and conference calls
- Work according to, and support the Quality Management System
- All other duties as assigned or required

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- College degree/vocational training desirable
- Bachelor’s degree desirable
- At least 3 years of experience in the Aviation Industry i.e. Technical Purchasing, MRO, Material Planner, AOG Buyer, Maintenance Planner, Sales, Logistics and Warehousing, or Maintenance desirable
- Military experience desirable
- Internship experience desirable
- Fluency in English language required
- German and Spanish language desirable
- MEL, IPC, CMM familiarity, maintenance knowledge desirable
- MS Office and SAP as expert
- Excellent ability to work under pressure
- Excellent problem solving
- Responsible of costs
- Willingness to travel
