Lumber & Hardware Company is looking for a Data Entry Clerk / Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Checks and approves all vouchers for payment.
- Also prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
- Audits freight bills against freight manifests with Purchasing Department
- Answers all vendor inquiries.
- Prepares accounts payable payments and transfers
- Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
- Review the Monthly Expend for monthly closings.
- Maintains clean work environment and open communication.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
A19bility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
