Essential Job Duties

- Consult with managers and staff to identify learning and development needs and provide effective recommendations and solutions.
- Collaborate with the HR team and SMEs on enterprise-wide initiatives- including Joint Commission initiatives, employee engagement/employee surveys, and culture development.
- Partners with the Director of Learning and Organizational Development to implement different business programs in an effort to align the work force and key company initiatives through organizational effectiveness guidance with leaders, identifies, develops, and implements different business policies and procedures.
- Designs, coordinates, implements, and evaluates Learning and Development courses and programs that support organization objectives that are aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
- Provides coaching, facilitation, team development, whole systems analysis, process reengineering, and organization development services in consultation with leaders from all levels of the organization to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the organization’s strategic plans.
- Provides project management for organization-wide projects/initiatives as required, facilitating team efforts and helping to define project goals, timelines, resource requirements and planning to cope with conflict or stressor points in the plans.
- Assesses risks associated with various change initiatives/projects and suggests and implements actions to manage any negative impacts.
- Upon request, coach leadership teams at all levels of the organization to expand their leadership and change management competencies.
- Coordinate staff and leadership development programs, new employee/manager orientation, and team workshops. Includes logistics, communications, materials, consultants, room set up, catering, facilitating as needed and evaluating programs.
- Serve as content administrator for HealthStream eLearning system. Develop and modify eLearning content and publish to Learning Management System.
- Provide data and analysis support for engagement surveys, needs assessments, and other projects. Analyze data and provide summary reports/dashboards and other reports as needed.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master’s preferred OD, I/O Psychology, HR, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education or employee training.
- Organizational Development experience preferred particularly in a healthcare organization.
- Strong communication and analytical skills. Considerable ability to exercise independent judgment. Proficient in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership and influence skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with key performance management and related learning processes (e.g., coaching, performance appraisal/management, 360 assessments)
- Experience in building, coaching, and debriefing behavioral/psychometric assessments (CliftonStrengths, Myers Briggs Indicator, EQ, DISC, etc.)
