Job Details
Luna Data Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support professional for a long term contract opening with a top client in the Beaumont area.
- Long term contract
- 100% On-Site (77708 zip code), will have occasional regional travel
- May be required to work evenings or weekends to meet business needs and deadlines
- Have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology.
- Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers (PC) and related systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware failures.
- Identify network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers.
- Provide technical support, training, process creation, and leading various project efforts, and is an exceptional local leader and mentor to junior Technicians.
Required Experience
- 5 or more years experience providing end-user support
- 5 or more years experience in supporting personal computer hardware and routine software installation
- 5 or more years experience troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment
- 5 or more years experience supporting Microsoft Productivity tools such as Office 365 and MS Teams
- 4 or more years experience supporting video tele-conferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 5 or more years experience creating technical knowledge articles
- 4 or more years experience utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment
- 5 or more years experience working in a multi-vendor environment for support operations
