Account Manager – Richmond, VA
Lunova Group is searching for a dynamic Account Manager for our client in the Richmond, VA area. As one of the world’s leading companies in the elevator industry, our client has an extensive network that guarantees closeness to customers. The company’s most important business line is its service business, covering commodity elevators for residential and commercial buildings to cutting-edge, highly customized solutions for state-of-the-art skyscrapers. In addition, it also consists of escalators and moving walks, passenger boarding bridges, stair and platform lifts, as well as tailored service solutions.
About the Role:
This person will be responsible for securing and maintaining service accounts and repair work. He/she will develop and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing customers, contributing to annual branch goal targets.
Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Exceed sales goals and quotas by utilizing company tools for service and repair growth and cancellation reduction
- Manage service accounts by visiting with customers within assigned territory to develop ongoing relationships with customers and associated groups
- Develops capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of company products by attending training classes and studying factory equipment manuals and supplier information. Includes developing knowledge of local elevator code requirements.
- Uses accounting reports to review route profitability and call backs. Includes providing feedback, data and reports to management
- Prepare repair job proposals by estimating labor and other job costs using a software program. For items not in the program, obtain price estimates from suppliers and manually calculate. Includes reviewing blueprints, surveying equipment and interfacing with operations personnel for additional input and approvals.
- Prepares service contract bids. Includes reviewing blueprints and surveying equipment when necessary and interfacing with operations personnel for additional input and approvals.
- Provide feedback to service manager prior to field evaluations and performance ratings
- Receive and respond to written and oral questions related to quoted repairs and service contracts. Includes performing follow-up with customers on all service and repair proposals.
Account Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of sales experience or training required; for candidates with 3 plus years of elevator sales experience bachelor's degree is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings preferred
- Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevator strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
