What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech position at Lutheran Medical Group?
Job Summary: Under the immediate direction of the Radiology Manager for Ultrasound, performs ultrasound scans and procedures and procedures as ordered by physician for use in patient diagnosis and treatment while providing leadership and guidance on a day-to-day basis to same to assure efficiency in daily operations and completion of tasks and objectives within established standards.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Licensure: N/A
Education/Experience: Successful completion of a recognized ultrasound technology program or professional medical licensure/registration with three to four years experience as a diagnostic sonographer. Prior leadership experience a plus.
Registration/Certification: Current registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required within three months of employment.
