LUTZ TECH - DATA ANALYTICS ANALYST

Lutz Tech is looking for a person with a data-driven mindset that is interested in applying data analytics to everyday business issues. If you are interested in an opportunity to leverage data, technology, and analytics to solve our client’s pressing business needs, then the Lutz Data Analytics Analyst is the role for you. Join our team of professionals as they discover insights within their client’s data; report on what has happened, apply analytics to answer “why” and “predict” what might happen next. As part of our data analytics team, you will extract, load, transform, visualize, analyze, and manage data to discover actionable insights to help our clients across multiple industries address their business challenges.

Responsibilities Include

• Querying data sets of various sizes to discover patterns and insights
• Understanding relationships between client data sources / map data flows
• Creating standard and custom reporting solutions
• Building data models
• Visualizing data or create visual dashboards
• Developing business solutions leveraging automation, visualization, and machine learning tools and understanding how these solutions integrate into client infrastructure

Regardless Of the Specific Projects, The Role Will Require

• 0-2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree/undergraduate degree in data analytics, applied mathematics, management information systems, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities and work independently
• Experience in or ability to determine approaches to collecting disparate data sources
• Understanding of how to combine disparate data in meaningful ways to extract insights
• Familiarity with a variety of analytics tools and programming languages is a plus. For example:

* Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo Db

* Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, D3)

* Reporting Tools (e.g., Business Objects, SQL Server Reporting Services)

* Microsoft Dynamics 365

* Languages (e.g., SQL, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, C#, C , VBA, VB.Net, ASP.Net, HTML, SAS)

* Microsoft Azure Environments

* Statistical/Predictive Analytics/Data Mining: (e.g., R, IBM SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner, RPL, Python, Matlab)

* Robotic Process Automation

The Ideal Candidate Embodies the Following

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills around applying technical solutions to collect, consolidate, cleanse, and analyze relational and/or disparate data
• Relational database understanding and ability to query the data (a big plus)
• Experience with data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (not required, but a plus)
