Role Overview: As a Project Director, you will play a crucial role in driving business development, generating new business opportunities managing existing clients and enhancing cross-functionality between our Preconstruction, Business Development, and Project Management departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preconstruction activities: estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Develop strategies to generate new business and expand our client base.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify and pursue new projects.
- Ensure seamless project execution from preconstruction through completion.
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-9 years in preconstruction, business development, or project management within the mechanical contracting industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Track Record: Proven ability to generate new business and build strong client relationships.
