We’re looking for a talented and creative Hardscaper to help us build dream landscapes—one paver at a time! If you enjoy crafting patios, walkways, and retaining walls all throughout central Maine.

Lynch Landscaping Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Hardscape Crew Leader or Foreman to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape installations such as patios, walkways, fire pits, paver installation and natural stone along with equipment experience (ie. loader, excavator, tractor, etc.) with the ability to manage projects and supervise team members effectively. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality landscape services while fostering a positive work environment.

  • Ability to reach landscaping Design and Construct Hardscape Features: Following a landscape scaled drawing, this candidate would be able to build patios, retaining walls, pathways, outdoor kitchens, and other stone or concrete structures, following both pre-designed plans and client specifications.
  • Install Pavers and Stones: Lay out pavers, bricks, and stone materials to create visually appealing and structurally sound surfaces such as walkways, driveways, and patios.
  • Excavation and Grading: Prepare the ground by digging, leveling, and grading soil to ensure proper drainage and stability for hardscape features.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely use a variety of tools and machinery, including saws, compactors, excavators, and skid steers, to shape and modify the landscape.
  • Material Handling and Installation: Measure, cut, and install various materials like flagstones, pavers, bricks, boulders, and other stone elements.
  • Collaborate with the Landscape Team: Work alongside landscape designers, softscapers, and other team members to integrate hardscape features into larger outdoor projects.
  • Water Management and Drainage: Implement proper drainage systems, ensuring that water flows away from structures and prevents erosion or damage to installations.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their vision, provide updates on project progress, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
  • Maintain Tools and Equipment: Keep tools, vehicles, and machinery in good working order by performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

This candidate would ideally have a CDL Class A license, however not necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 55 per week
