POSITION SUMMARY |
- Performs clerical and administrative support tasks as required by the Director, Supervisors, and Coordinators of the Curriculum and Instruction Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
- Works collaboratively with colleges/universities to schedule teacher prep candidates in LCS field placements.
- Supports the clerical needs of the mentor program.
- Supports the Coordinator of Assessment as the DDOT2.
- Prepares, types, and proofs communications relating to the general and specialized work of the department.
- Reproduces, organizes and prepares materials for distribution.
- Serves as the receptionist, when necessary: answers the telephone, greets department visitors in a pleasant, helpful and respectful manner in response to public inquiries and/or department matters.
- Exhibits professionalism that is directed toward quality service.
- Establishes and maintains cross-reference digital files and records and prepares required reports.
- Handles routine office and department duties such as purchasing, travel, purchase orders, p-card reconciliation, misc. payroll sheets, etc.
- Exhibits professionalism that is directed toward quality service.
- Maintains general knowledge of central office and administrative secretarial matters and takes initiative to expand knowledge through professional development.
- Fills in on a temporary basis for any other administrative secretary and/or assists other departments as needed.
- Maintains the confidentiality of information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
- The candidate must have a high school diploma and/or GED; or equivalent in experience in the field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES |
- The candidate must have proficient editing and proofing skills. The candidate must be proficient in oral and written communication skills. The candidate must have experience in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat.
