Lyngblomsten is looking for a passionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team at our beautiful Como Campus!

Job Summary
Position Summary : The successful performance of the Activity Service Coordinator includes overseeing all aspects of Therapeutic Recreation and Volunteer services at The Heritage. This includes working closely with the LALD, evaluating performance of staff, and adhering to all state regulations.

Reports to : Executive Licensed Assisted Living Director
Employees Supervised : Como - Volunteer services

Responsibilities and Duties
Interpersonal Relationships
4. Seeks and accepts feedback regarding the performance of job duties.
7. Reports for work on time.
Life Enrichment Tasks
4. Ensure that the department is adequately supplied.
5. Oversee care of activity areas, supplies, and equipment.
7. Coordinator with Life Long Learning and the Arts Director for programming.
Operational Tasks
4. Performs other tasks as assigned.
5. Must be able to drive recreational bus.
Physical Demands
1. The employee must be able to walk 6 to 7 hours in an 8-hour work day.

Qualifications and Skills
Must have the desire to work with older adults
Volunteer management experience and the ability to plan and organize volunteer programs & services preferred.
At least 2 years of recent experience in a licensed assisted living facility with 2-4 years in a resident activity program preferred.
Must be willing to drive a small bus for resident outings
Leadership ability and willingness to cooperate with department heads and other personnel are necessary
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff and volunteers
Connections and / or affiliations with civic, social & professional organizations desired
Strong verbal and written communications skills are necessary
