Vocational Line- Pack Table
The Vocational Line Pack Table consults with ROI Quality Control Coordinator, working with one shipping container at a time, removes all kits, places contents into portfolio, returns contents to bag and seals. Then places completed shipping container onto pallet for staging.
Prepares for the daily build by pulling prepped portfolios, cutting open boxes and staging nearby worktable. Completes packaging of all kits, palletizes completed shipping containers and removes them to shipping staging area. Cleans work area and preps for next day.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Physical ability to bend, stoop and occasionally lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds. Ability to become certified to operate tow motor. Demonstrated competence Excellent skills in working with developmentally disabled individuals; Sensitive to the emotional needs of others; ability to organize work duties and to be able to establish Christian work environment; able to solve problems and to handle emergencies.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Minimum of high school experience required; strong desire and ability to acquire techniques and principles specific to working with and training adults with developmental disabilities.
Two years of college may be substituted for one-year work experience.
OR
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
MORAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a person of integrity and good reputation; one who believes in God and exercises his faith in his daily life; whose life and conduct has been such as to receive a favorable recommendation from his church and/or the community. In all aspects of this position, the highest Christian and professional standards will be utilized.
