Position Overview :
M.C. Dean is seeking a dynamic Director of Education & Learning to lead the strategy, design, and execution of enterprise-wide learning initiatives that support our highly technical workforce. This role will drive the training of employees across our four strategic business units-Engineering & Construction, Services & Critical Support, Security & Electronic Systems, and Automation Systems-ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver operational excellence.
This role will be responsible for leading a team to create and implement innovative training programs, leadership development initiatives, and technical upskilling strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing training programs for a technical workforce, performance-driven learning cultures, and competency-based talent development.

Responsibilities
Develop Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with M.C. Dean's business objectives and workforce development needs.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of technical, leadership, and professional development programs.
- Partner with senior leadership, business unit leaders, and subject matter experts to identify critical skill gaps and training priorities.
- Implement blended learning solutions, including in-person training, e-learning, simulations, and on-the-job training to support knowledge retention and application.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Years of experience combined with education, designations, or certifications.
Certifications in instructional design, leadership development, or talent development (e.g., CPLP, ATD, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The nature and extent of skills and competencies required to achieve the goals of the position.
Experience in change management and driving cultural transformation through learning initiatives is an advantage.
