Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Assistant to serve as the main contact between customers, sales and production. You will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including providing pricing quotations, entering purchase orders, preparing invoices, drafting customer shipping documentation and following up with production regarding estimated shipping times.
In this role, you will work in a team-oriented setting while reporting to the Director of Sales to support a growing business and customer base.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Be the main point of contact between customers and their agents or shipping carriers.
- Prepare price and lead time quotations in collaboration with sales and with production using the company CRM.
- Prepare and manage required documentation to accompany orders.
- Enter orders and forecasts within the ERP system.
- Send invoices and follow-up on payments as required.
- Canvass potential or existing customers for new product applications
- Help with the organization of trade shows or events
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
