M3 Family Office is hiring exceptional talent to join our fast-growing financial planning team for our Florida or Massachusetts office and help us build our services for ultra-high-net-worth clients in the private equity industry.

Position Overview

We seek an experienced Financial Planner to join our concierge team for Family Office clients.

 

The ideal candidate will possess either a CFP, CLU, or tax or legal experience and will have prior experience in providing financial planning and estate planning services at a high level at either a Family Office, a Big 5 accounting, or an RIA or Life Insurance planning firm.

 

In this pivotal role, you will lead and mentor a team of two skilled Financial Planners and utilize cutting-edge financial technology, including eMoney, Vanilla, and Fidelity Wealthscape to provide comprehensive wealth management services to our high-net-worth clients in the private equity community.

 

This is a hybrid/remote position with the opportunity to work 100% virtual or collaborate with team members in our office in Needham, MA, and Sarasota, FL.

 

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this role will include the following:

 

Financial Planning Support:

●     Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies for high-net-worth clients, leveraging the latest technology.

●     Utilize eMoney and Vanilia software to create detailed financial and estate plans, assess risk, and project future financial scenarios.

●     Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.

●     Assist in preparing financial plans, including cash flow analysis, retirement projections, and investment recommendations.

●     Model complex life insurance designs as part of financial and estate plans

●     Collaborate with our team of advisors to review and update client portfolios, ensuring alignment with their financial goals.

 

Client Service:

●     Effectively manage client relationships, connecting with clients to understand their unique financial needs and aspirations.

●     Implement and manage client data and communication through Wealthbox CRM, ensuring efficient and effective client interactions.

●     Consistently deliver excellent client service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

●     Respond to client inquiries about account activity, portfolio performance, and financial plans.

●     Support onboarding of new clients by collecting financial data and facilitating account setup.

 

Team leadership:

●     Lead and manage a team of two Financial Planners, providing high-end Family Office Services.

●     Contribute to our intellectual property, including improving methodologies, tools, and techniques and developing new ideas and approaches.

 

Qualifications

We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications for this role:

 

●     Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

●     CFP® designation OR CLU designation.

●     Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65), life insurance licenses preferred or a willingness to obtain them within the first 6 months of hiring.

●     6 years of experience in financial planning.

●     Deep expertise in financial and estate planning software (specifically eMoney and Vanilla) and tools like Excel.

●     Knowledge of life insurance and estate planning.
