We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Investment Officer to lead our acquisition and management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate, with a focus on multi-family and mixed-use investments. They will be responsible for originating, underwriting, negotiating, and closing deals, as well as building relationships with brokers, equity partners, and debt providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, underwrite, negotiate, and close multi-family and mixed-use real estate investments with a focus on value-add opportunities.
- Source and identify new equity and debt partners, creating relationships that provide consistent deal partnerships.
- Review and adjust financial models for valuation and cash flow projections based on changing market conditions.
- Manage due diligence processes, directing activities with attorneys, architects, engineers, consultants, governmental bodies, and other interested parties.
- Execute asset performance KPIs and build internal controls to monitor and manage engaged property management firms and leasing agencies.
- Evaluate potential development opportunities and their associated risk-return profiles.
