About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with institutional investors, developers, and property owners, advising on complex retail and mixed-use transactions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial analysis, underwriting, and deal execution while also leading the creation of marketing materials and overseeing transaction processes, including investor presentations and property tours. Additionally, this position involves mentoring and managing Analysts, ensuring quality execution across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling and underwriting for institutional real estate transactions using Excel and Argus
- Analyze investment opportunities with a deep understanding of capital structures, equity, and debt markets
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, including investor presentations and transaction collateral
- Oversee due diligence processes and manage deal execution from start to finish
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering professional development within the team
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in institutional commercial real estate, capital markets, or investment banking
- Retail and some mixed-use asset experience is preferred
- Strong financial modeling skills in Argus and Excel, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to assess market trends and macroeconomic factors impacting real estate investments
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and investors
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
