Job Summary
MacKay & Agents LLC is working with a Vault 150 Under 150 firm in SoCal that is seeking a Corporate Paralegal. Candidates should possess a strong academic background, a proven track record of strong performance and measurable results, and exceptional communication, analytical, and writing skills. The ability to be a creative thinker and problem solver and to work independently and with a team is also required. This position can be filled in Century City or Newport Beach.
Qualifications
- 5 years law firm experience working on general corporate transactional matters
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program is strongly preferred
- A proactive self-starter mindset and the ability to lead significant projects, demonstrating initiative and accountability
- E-filing of pleadings in both state and federal courts in Maryland, DC and Virginia.
- Public company and securities experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Suite
