Qualifications:
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
Three years of related experience
Fingerprint clearance with the Alabama State Department of Education prior to the start date
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the administrative activities, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating appointments
Assist in organizing department events, workshops, and conferences
Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and hard copy
Handle incoming inquiries and requests from staff, parents, and external stakeholders
Oversee office supplies inventory, place orders, and ensure adequate stock levels
Coordinate office equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of departmental office space
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, providing information and assistance as required
Compile and analyze data to support departmental operations and decision-making
Generate and distribute routine reports, statistical data, and presentations
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with district policies and regulations
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by department leadership
Conduct research, gather information, and prepare materials for project implementation
Perform other duties as assigned by administrators
