Job Overview
We are seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our Payroll, Benefits and HR Operations team in London or New York. This role will work closely with the Payroll Manager and the HR team and will be responsible for the processing of our global payroll (UK, US, Hong Kong, Sweden, Portugal and Poland), benefits administration, while also supporting the HR Operations function where necessary.
This position requires a detail orientated individual who is self-motivated with a can-do attitude, who is passionate about working with employees and improving the employee experience.
Job Responsibilities/ What you will do:
· Process and administer accurate and timely payrolls, across multiple countries, for employees and board directors, on a monthly/quarterly basis
· Collaborate and manage in-country payroll partners to ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, commission and bonuses, overtime, shift payments, and taxes
· Work with payroll partners to accurately produce and finalise payroll year-end
· Support with payroll audits and reconciliations across different countries
· Administer employee benefits, globally, for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance and retirement plans
· Work with local benefit providers and/or benefits brokers to manage enrolment, changes and terminations and manage compliance with statutory requirements, by location
· Stay updated on global benefit trends and suggest improvements to enhance benefit offerings
· Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits enquiries across different time zones
· Ensure payroll procedures are kept up-to-date and continuously improve payroll and benefits processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience
· Support the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll and benefit compliance with local labour laws, submission of tax filings and annual compliance reports in all countries
· Support the HR Operations team as necessary with:
o The day-to-day operation of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, employee changes and updates and terminations
o Maintaining accurate payroll related administration and employee records in the HRIS system, BambooHR
o Welcoming new joiners to the company and ensuring their right to work
Required Qualifications and experience:
§ Minimum of 2 years of experience in global payroll and benefits role
§ Experience with ADP Celergo payroll (desirable, but not essential)
§ Knowledge of payroll compliance in US, UK, Hong Kong, Sweden, Portugal and/or Poland (2 countries essential, 3 desirable)
§ HR Operations knowledge (desirable, but not essential)
§ Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, excel, powerpoint)
§ Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages relevant to our locations is a plus
§ Methodical approach to work, with a high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ High level of discretion

§ Able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
