February - June 2025 | MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT
Madison Country Day School, Madison Country Day School, a Pre-K through grade 12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, seeks an educational assistant to support middle school student(s). Key responsibilities of this role include providing one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting with promoting positive social interactions and implementing a Behavior Support Plan.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL
- Possess a genuine appreciation of adolescents and a sense of humor
- Have excellent communication skills,
- Have patience, kindness, and can encourage engagement
- Effectively collaborates with teachers, students, and staff
- Keep accurate and organized notes and records as needed
- Adapts to the needs of students and changes in the classroom setting
- Believe in the intrinsic relationship between social-emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy.

Requirements
- Experience in the field of education and at least 1 year of professional experience is preferred
- Demonstrated examples of work where versatility, resourcefulness, innovation, and problem-solving skills
- Have a belief in the intrinsic relationship between social-emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy
- Work the hours of 7:45 am to 3:45 pm Monday thru Friday
