As a top mortgage broker in NY, we have an opening for a highly seasoned Speaking) Loan Officer Assistant to support a top producing sales team in our Lake Success, NY headquarters.
This is an in-office position so the ideal candidate will be able to commute to the Lake Success, NY office on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with loan officers to ensure loan structuring and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
- Assist in loan processing, managing the loan pipeline, and ensuring timely completion of documentation.
- Communicate effectively and provide regular updates to clients, real estate agents, and attorneys involved in the loan process.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the loan process.
- Demonstrate sales acumen to support business development efforts, including outreach to potential referral partners such as real estate agents, accountants, attorneys, and financial planners.
- Assist with social media marketing initiatives, including managing accounts, creating engaging content, and monitoring performance.
- Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and collateral to promote our services.
- Coordinate and assist in planning various events related to business development and client engagement.

Qualifications
- Must be bilingual in Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- MUST be able to work in the office in Lake Success, NY. This is NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
- Minimum 2-5 years experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Officer, or similar position
- Excellent multi-tasker in a very fast-paced environment
- Encompass and Salesforce experience
- Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator a plus or if not licensed; willing to take a test to become licensed in NY
- Outgoing - Comfortable talking to clients in person or via phone
- Team player
- Previous experience in the mortgage industry with a strong understanding of loan structuring, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills to maintain regular updates with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide support and address inquiries throughout the loan process
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to business development efforts
- Familiarity with social media management and event planning
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including record-keeping, data entry, and file management
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to be coached and mentored by top industry professionals
