Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Construction Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of construction processes, and experience with inspection documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Monitor project progress and report any deviations or issues to the project manager.
- Verify quality and accuracy of materials, workmanship, and adherence to safety standards.
- Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide recommendations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Certification in MODOT Concrete Inspection (required) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with AutoCAD (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Pay Range: $23-$30/Hr
