IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Hybrid or 100% Remote – EST Time Zone)
We seek an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of IT infrastructure projects, including network systems, server infrastructure, cloud technologies, and data centers. This role is available as a hybrid, local, or 100% remote position, but candidates must reside in the EST time zone and be available Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST.
Pay Rate: $65–$75 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and drive the successful execution of end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Manage the implementation of networking, storage, cloud computing, virtualization, and IT security infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with IT security best practices, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or other IT project management methodologies to drive project execution, monitor progress, and manage risks.
- Identify potential roadblocks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, status reports, and executive summaries.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, including server, network, and cloud implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, cloud computing, and IT security.
- Familiarity with IT project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and IT service management (ITIL).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management.
- Knowledge of network and systems monitoring tools.
Salary : $65 - $75
