Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role focuses on managing employee relations, processing payroll and providing internal customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, basic understanding of payroll systems, employee relations and benefit management with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with workers' compensation regulations.
- Maintain employee records in using ADP software.
- Handle conflict management and employee relations issues effectively.
- Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures to enhance workplace culture.
- Ensure HR processes are user-friendly and accessible.
- Accurately process and manage the company's payroll ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Address payroll and benefits related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Skills
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to mediate disputes effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing employee records, documentation and benefits.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and processes.
- Proficiency in payroll software. ADP experience is a plus.
- Microsoft software experience including Excel.
