What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant (midtown Manhattan) position at Magnet Group?
- Assist attorneys with client communication
- Revise legal documents (including motions, pleadings, straight typing, edits, etc.)
- Log attorney time
- Submit expense and reimbursement reports
- Electronic filing of documents on court websites
- Coordinate and manage attorneys’ calendars including scheduling meetings, conference calls, zoom meetings.
- Manage and prioritize incoming email and correspondence
- Proofread work for accuracy
- Attend to incoming calls
Must have experience working within the litigation space at a law firm
Must be proficient in MS Word with the ability to type 55 WPM
Hybrid Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 2 days a week remotely

Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
