What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Magnum Companies?
- Unload freight from incoming semi-trailers at the dock on the receiving side of the warehouse.
- Reload manifest, match product in trucks to specified delivery products and locations
- Inspect freight for damage
- Enter necessary data into the computer
- Reload freight into the appropriate trailer at the loading dock for the driver to deliver utilizing propane-powered and/or sit-down-style forklifts and handloading.
- Maintain a clean environment, including removing broken pallets, sweeping inside of trailers, etc.
- Assist with projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to fluently read, speak, and write English to complete necessary paperwork and communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
Seeking an individual who has:
- Prior transportation experience in Truckload/Local Cartage/Broker capacity.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible in an environment where priorities and load schedules are constantly changing.
- A high level of interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with drivers and customers verbally or in written/messaging format.
- Knowledge of business processes, transportation and dispatch terminology.
- The ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Participation skills in a team environment and able communicate effectively.
- Geographical knowledge of the assigned metro area and the Midwest.
- Truckmate (TMW) software experience (preferred).
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
