│Job Summary│
The Quality Technician position develops and tests new products, processes and raw materials. This role is responsible for maintaining and updated specifications related to raw materials and finished goods. The Quality Technician ensures products and materials meet all applicable quality standards by utilizing proper inspection processes. This position also provides technical support to the Sales Department.
│Job Duties│
- Develop testing plans and strategies to qualify new or alternate raw materials.
- Develop testing plans and strategies for new products.
- Conduct testing on performance of new products and raw materials to verify product specifications.
- Document internal quality testing and product safety tests.
- Research newest technologies for equipment and technology used in product testing.
- Provide technical support to the Sales Department as needed.
- Develop and maintain best practices and standard work for all activities.
- Assist with product development efforts to ensure designs adhere to performance and product safety requirements.
- Lead and support the resolution of product quality issues.
- Coordinate certification testing of products for all printer types.
- Perform calibration of testing equipment.
- Lead or participate in Kaizen and other product improvement events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills (Root cause analysis, FMEA, Ishikawa).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Working knowledge of applicable computer programs, such as Microsoft Office and M2M.
- Working knowledge of magnetics and magnetic product testing.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
│Minimum Qualifications│
- Associate’s degree in engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, performing product testing.
- Experience working with adhesives, magnetics, and laminates preferred.
