For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The Professional Engineer at Maguire is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing engineering projects while following industry standards and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Director of Engineering will oversee all engineering processes.
Essential Functions :
- Design and Analysis : Develop and evaluate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Project Management : Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Collaboration : Work closely with consulting engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the integrity and performance of engineering systems and components.
- Documentation : Prepare and maintain detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation for projects and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance : Stay updated on relevant codes and standards; ensure that projects adhere to all applicable regulations.
- Mentoring : Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering department team members.
