Dining Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café, ensuring a high standard of service and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for our neighboorhood cafe with experience in restaurant management. You will be responsible for supervising staff, training team members, and maintaining an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Verify and count drawers and safe.
• Prepare reports and deposits.
• Assist in daily operations.
• Manage daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in food preparation and service.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas.
• Develop training programs to enhance staff skills in customer service and food preparation techniques.
• Utilize Toast Tab POS system for managing orders, payments, and tracking sales performance.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong background in food preparation, causual and fine dining service standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Familiarity with training development techniques to enhance staff performance.
• Knowledge of Toast Tab POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred, excel and microsoft office products is a must.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
