Duties
- Operate and maintain machinery, including forklifts, tow trucks, and flatbed vehicles.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Execute manual transmission driving tasks with precision and safety.
- Conduct automotive repairs as needed, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to manage conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities or incidents to management.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or mechanics preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and effectively.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional endorsements may be necessary based on equipment operated.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong drive for achieving results.
