Mainstream Bar and Grill in Downtown Waukesha is looking for energetic, responsible and reliable individuals to add to our kitchen crew. Part time/full time positions available. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including grilling items, following recipes and guidelines.
- Handle food with care and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food service.
- Utilize knife skills and culinary experience to deliver high-quality meals.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Food preparation and cooking skills
- Food service and food handling experience
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience
- Culinary background with knowledge of meal preparation
- Ability to use knife skills effectively
- Experience in grilling techniques
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning
- Knowledge of catering and serving practices
