Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Build positive relationships across the workforce, addressing employee questions, concerns, and issues while promoting a collaborative work culture.
- Onboarding & Training: Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions, new-hire paperwork, and job-specific training. Maintain training records and support ongoing professional development initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition & Hiring: Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including posting job vacancies, managing applications, evaluating candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations to management.
- HR Administration: Manage and maintain accurate employee records, process HR paperwork, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Benefits Coordination: Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback to promote employee growth and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of HR experience, ideally within a construction or related field.
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and best practices in HR.
- Experience managing hiring processes, from job postings and candidate evaluation to interview coordination and recommendation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
