BENEFITS AND WELLNESS COORDINATOR / HR BUSINESS PARTNER
The Benefits and Wellness Coordinator position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations and execution of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending, Health Saving Account, Accident and Critical Illness plans). This position provides excellent customer service and designs quality plan designs and improvements. The administrator continually investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and manages benefits administration for all employees. Additionally, this role will provide general HR support for an assigned group of employees.
What you will do

- Research and administer the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of health and benefit programs.
- Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience and competitive trends in benefits programs, and make recommendations.
- Negotiate with vendors and administrators for best plans, options and rates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
- Manage annual open enrollment for all US employees.
- Resolve employee questions and problems by interpreting benefits policies and procedures.
- Handle audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Wellness
- Develop and Facilitate the Wellness program for all locations in the US, Mexico and Canada.
- Coordinate wellness initiatives for all facilities to help keep health care costs down.
- Educate employees and HR team members on the impact of current and new wellness initiatives including companywide wellness challenges, initiatives or new information.
- Maintain the wellness platform by ensuring compliance with all national health care policies, HIPPA, FMLA and ERISA.
What you will need
Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience managing benefit/wellness programs, preferably with an organization in growth mode.
- Extensive knowledge of benefit packages, policies, and legislation.
- Demonstrated experience managing benefit vendors and reconciling related invoices.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and multitask a variable workload with keen attention to detail.
- Sound judgment and confidentiality.
- Strong writing and editing skills to craft firm-wide messages about benefit programs.
- Solid HRIS experience with the ability to run routine and custom reports.
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- CEBS and SHRM certifications strongly preferred.
