Job Title: Residential Care Coordinator
Location: The Wellness Experience House, Cincinnati, OH
Pay: $20-$22/hour (Paid Weekly)

Job Overview:
The Residential Care Coordinator is responsible for managing the overall daily operations of the group home and ensuring that residents receive quality care, support, and services. This role is critical in providing a structured, compassionate, and safe environment for residents, helping them achieve their personal goals while promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being. The Residential Care Coordinator will work closely with staff, case managers, and external professionals to ensure the seamless coordination of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of residents to ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being.
• ·Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.·
• ·Teaching and promoting independent living skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and time management.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with case managers, healthcare providers, and the team.
• Assist in the coordination of services such as medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other necessary treatments as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident documentation, including progress reports, incident reports, medication reports and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Organize and participate in resident activities, including recreational programs and support groups as needed.
• Provide direct support to residents during crises, including conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Work with families, case managers, and other external partners to provide coordinated care and support for residents.
• Maintain a positive and supportive environment that fosters resident engagement and personal growth.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a group home, residential care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mental health, addiction recovery, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and external professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and promote a positive, supportive environment.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or relevant certifications to the related field is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
