Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and administrating physical and transactional BIN accuracy and unscheduled material movements from Malibu’s multiple warehouses, contributing to the overall inventory control accuracy. Other responsibilities include identifying, stocking, labeling materials, and BIN locations. This position coordinates closely with management for unscheduled transfers, researching and solving inventory variances both physically and transactionally. Ideally, this individual is customer driven, self-motivated and completes tasks with a disciplined approach.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify and pull material physically for issuance to production
- Review, analyze, and disposition of material requests (root causes) using data (pick lists and Bills of Material) and production input
- Administer return bin process - identify, research, learn, label and re-stock unscheduled return bin material; update and publish policy changes; manage return bins throughout the warehouse
- Establish and maintain accurate physical ERP Inventory and BIN locations by prepping for parts numbers, labeling of parts, BIN audits, etc.
- Identify, research, and problem solve inventory inaccuracies and variance issues (physically and in ERP)
- Review, conduct, and research low and out items, understanding how to process obsolete parts, and picking shortages; coordinate with Purchasing for variances; maintain reporting
- Continuously coordinates and reports to warehouse management regarding the overall material warehouse layout
- Transact pick lists, packing lists and inventory transactions
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance, with and without the use of a calculator or computer.

- Typical 8 to 10-hour workdays based upon facility.
- Typical 4- or 5-day work week schedule based upon facility and schedule loading.
- Overtime is occasional to frequent based on a number of factors.
- Required to work indoors and outdoors, year-round and in all weather conditions.
- May be required to access stored product at a variety of heights up to 16 feet.
- May work alone for extended periods.
- May be required to work during production shutdowns or other “off-schedule” periods to conduct special activities such as, but not limited to, fiscal year-end inventory counts.
