Job Description : Party, Events, and Outreach Coordinator
Reports to : General Manager
At Malibu Jacks, we create exciting and memorable experiences for families. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Party, Events, and Outreach Coordinator to manage event planning, drive community outreach, and promote our venue to increase bookings. You will work closely with local businesses, schools, and organizations to build relationships while ensuring smooth event execution and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
Event Planning & Coordination :
Oversee the setup and teardown of party areas, ensuring the space is safe and clean.
Communicate with guests about event details, confirm bookings, and process payments.
Coordinate with staff for seamless execution and ensure event materials are prepared in advance.
Community Outreach & Sales :
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and community leaders.
Participate in outreach programs and represent Malibu Jacks at local events to increase brand visibility.
Generate new sales leads, conduct presentations, and distribute promotional materials to target groups such as corporate clients and schools.
Administrative & Event Support :
Manage the Party Desk, maintain event supplies, and coordinate catering for group events.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and assist with event setup and execution.
Keep accurate records of transactions, invoices, and inventory.
Training & Safety :
Assist in training party attendants to provide excellent service and maintain a safety-focused environment for both guests and staff.
Additional Responsibilities :
Support special projects and events during peak seasons, and contribute to strategies for improving event offerings and community engagement.
Qualifications :
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Previous event coordination, sales, or customer service experience, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
Proven ability to generate sales leads and build relationships within the community.
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Customer service-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
Physical Demands :
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs unaided.
