What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director position at Malibu Wellness Ranch?
The primary focus of this position is to ensure that clients have a positive experience while in treatment and to ensure the delivery of all clinical services. This is a critical position at Malibu Wellness Ranch responsible for coordinating, developing, and monitoring all treatment activities. The Clinical Director reports to the COO of Malibu Wellness Ranch. The duties and responsibilities are diverse and comprehensive, therefore, the Clinical Director is a key staff member in ensuring effective treatment outcomes. Provides overall direction and leadership to the clinical staff; Directs clinical component and facilitates organization-wide quality improvement and program development for all levels of care, including non-hospitalizaion detox. MUST BE LICENSED IN PA!!
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision to a team of counselors and therapists
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in clinical practice
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical counseling or related field
- Strong knowledge and experience in D&A
- Proficiency in mental health counseling techniques and interventions
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and techniques
- Knowledge of case management principles and practices
- Experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and data collection techniques
- Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions effectively
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles is a plus
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Current state licensure from the Department of State, Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and staff members
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- MUST BE LICENSED IN PA!!
