Malvern Community Health Services (MCHS) is currently seeking a full time Administrative Coordinator to support the administrative functions of our Outpatient Therapy Office in Reading , PA. This position is a full time, benefit eligible position working in the office 40 hours per week. The schedule for the Administrative Coordinator position is Monday through Friday with occasional evening hours required.
Position Summary: Supports Site Director as the point person for Outpatient operations.
Summary of Essential Position Functions:
Manages calls to the site and directs them appropriately. Schedules evaluations.
Greets patients and visitors as they arrive.
Collects and maintains patient deductibles and co-pays in an organized manner and tracks. Communicates any patient financial issues with Site Supervisor. Prepares and completes deposits on a weekly basis.
Manages supplies, inventory and ordering.
Acts as a liaison between Outpatient Services and billing department
Participates in continuing education to reach professional growth objectives.
Collects and distributes mail, faxes and interoffice communications.
Obtains current and up to date insurance information for current or potential patients.
Completes quantitative chart reviews daily and maintains up to date spreadsheet information.
Completes site scanning of clinical documentation.
Arranges transportation for patients in conjunction with the transportation department.
Maintains a spreadsheet with patient authorizations and notifies counselor/site supervisor if an authorization isnt up to date.
Completes documentation of monthly drills for the site and submits them to the appropriate parties.
Completes appeal letters for insurance denials and communicates with the billing department.
Completes new patient paperwork including intake documentation.
Submits weekly credit card receipts and cash to the Corporate Office.
Maintains confidentiality of the site, specifically related to patient identification and documentation.
Interacts with co-workers in a helpful manner which contributes to high morale.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.
