We are looking for a reliable and caring individual to join our team at Mamaroneck High School as a Teacher’s Aide.
POSITION: Teacher Aide - Testing Center - Probationary
LOCATION: Mamaroneck High School
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week
TIME: 8AM - 3:30PM with a 30 minute lunch
SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal
POSITION AVAILABLE: Immediately

RESPONSIBILITIES – General Education Teacher Aide:
- Support of students with special needs as per their IEP
- Administer exams in alignment with students’ IEP or 504 accommodation plans
- Proctor students in assigned locations based on the building’s proctoring protocols
- Collaboration with special education teacher, general education teacher, and other staff members on behalf of the student’s success
- Monitor the health and well-being of students
- Effectively communicate with classroom teacher and administration
- Willingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training
- Data collection and implementation of behavior plans
- Assist classroom teacher as needed
- Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all ages
- Experience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: High School Diploma or GED
